Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Physify collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use our platform. We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.

1. Information we collect

Account details: your name and email address, held by our authentication provider (Clerk) when you sign up. Payment details: processed securely by our payment provider (Stripe); we never see or store your full card number. Study activity: the lessons you complete, quiz and mock exam results, and your case simulator attempts, so we can show your progress and history across devices. What you type into the simulators and question forms: your answers and questions, which we process to give feedback. Usage data: pages visited and general device information, collected through analytics.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to provide and personalise the platform, process subscriptions, track your study progress, generate feedback, respond to support requests, send account and study emails, and understand how the platform is used so we can improve it. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Service providers

We share limited information with the providers that run the platform: Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments and billing), Supabase (storage of your study progress and attempt history), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (the AI model behind the case simulators, which receives what you type into them), Resend (email delivery) and Google Analytics (usage analytics). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

4. Overseas disclosure

Several of these providers store or process data outside Australia, mainly in the United States. By using Physify you consent to this disclosure. We choose providers that maintain recognised security standards.

5. Patient information

Physify is a study tool. Do not enter names, record numbers or any other details that could identify a real patient into any part of the platform.

6. Data storage & security

Your data is stored on secure, access-controlled infrastructure. We take reasonable steps to protect it from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, though no online service can guarantee absolute security. We keep your information while your account is active and delete it on request, except where we must keep records by law (for example, billing records).

7. Your rights

You may access, correct or request deletion of your personal information, and you can cancel your account at any time. To make a request, contact us at the address below. If you are not satisfied with our response you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies required for sign-in and to keep the platform working, and analytics cookies (Google Analytics) to understand how the platform is used. You can block analytics cookies in your browser settings without affecting the platform. We do not use cookies for advertising.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the platform or email.
